Suk Koo Rhee is Professor of English and Underwood Distinguished Professor at Yonsei University, Seoul. His research interests include postcolonial literature in English, Cold War literature, critical theory, and Asian cinema. His most recent monograph is The Korean War Novel: Rewriting History from the Civil War to the Post-Cold War (2024). His essays have appeared in journals such as the Journal of Asian Studies, the Canadian Journal of Film Studies, IJCL, Situations, and Genre.
