Jo Ann Tilton is the widow of a fallen firefighter. Like many widows, her journey into widowhood began suddenly and unexpectedly with the loss of her husband.As an Insurance Coordinator for Katy ISD, she has supported and counseled hundreds of widows while processing life insurance claims for their spouses. Through this work, she has developed a deep compassion for those navigating loss.Jo Ann is also the founder and leader of The Journey Girls, a support group for widows, where she has helped many women walk through the difficult road of widowhood with faith and community.She lives out her passion daily by pointing others to Christ through her words, her service, and her life.
