Joshua M. Dunn is executive director of the Institute of American Civics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and professor of public affairs in the Baker School of Public Policy and Public Affairs. His work focuses on constitutional law, education policy, and federalism.

Michael B. Poliakoff is president and CEO of the American Council of Trustees and Alumni and a professor of the classics. He writes on classical studies and higher education policy and served as Pennsylvania Deputy Secretary of Education and NEH Director of Education Programs.
