In response to the meta-crisis and the potential death of humanity or the death of our humanity, we must cross over from Homo sapiens to Homo amor.

This book is compiled from lightly edited transcriptions from The Crossing, an event originally initiated and taught by Dr. Gafni, and organized and facilitated by James Bampfield. The Crossing took place in Holland in 2024. The larger context for the Crossing was a series of more than thirty Wisdom School and Mystery School events led by Dr. Gafni and his colleagues which preceded this event.

The intention of The Crossing was a template for the evolutionary transformation from Homo sapiens to Homo amor which is both the overwhelming joy and most urgent global need at this moment of meta crisis.

The Crossing continues to deepen as an evolving template for the transformative initiation into becoming the new human and the new humanity. It is a rite of passage that can and must be replicated across the world-each location in its own vernacular of spirit and culture; its own unique quality of intimacy.

It is only a world-wide explosion of people who refuse to settle, people willing to go all the way in this life time, to cross over and become the new human, that will be a sufficient response to the potential death of humanity and the potential death of our humanity.
