God's word is very specific when it speaks about healing; Isaiah 53:5
NKJV "But He was wounded for our transgression, He was bruised for
our iniquities; the chastisement (punishment, beating) of our peace
was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.' Psalms 103:3 "Who
forgives all our iniquities, who heals all our diseases." Psalms 34:19
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him
out of them all." God's word is filled with the promise of healing for His
people. God even created trees that are planted in heaven specifically
for the healing of God's creation. Revelation 22:2 "The leaves of the tree
were for the healing of the nations." If we believe God can heal and does,
then we can also expect that He can heal us as well.
Do all of God's children receive healing? No, they do not. Healing of the
body requires faith, God's intentional will to be in place, and a personal
resignation to the fact that suffering for the believer is also part of the
journey with God. God can heal through the laying on of hands (not
always required), but He can also use doctors to help a person obtain
healing. We must accept that God has given knowledge to man to aid
in his health needs. This point cannot be ignored.
God does heal in different ways!
