Janet N. Gold is professor emerita at the University of New Hampshire. Gold has written literary histories and biographies, essays, memoir, poetry, and translations that have been published in Central America and the United States. She was honored in May 2025 at the Festival Internacional de Poesía ?Los Confines? for her lifetime contributions to the study of Central American literature.
