Jodi Lorimer is an author and mad gardener, and is fortunate to live in Portland, Oregon, where almost everything grows. It's also a city of coffee, books, and many rainy days-a perfect combination. In a previous life, she was a professional voice talent and, among other things, was the voice for the Portland transit system, the MAX, for many years. She has written and voiced a series of recorded short stories appropriately titled "Twisted Epiphanies." Haling from the California Gold Country, she loves history (the older, the better) and archaeology, and as a student of anthropology and mythology, these subjects inspire her writing. A family history and a memoir are in the pipeline. She has two children, one perfect grandchild, a hive of bees, two opinionated cats, and a devoted husband. She has made her garden as faerie friendly as possible and anticipates their arrival any day now.
