David Clarke was born in Zimbabwe. He grew up with high expectations of himself and after having a great time at school with his friends, he launched into a passionate life with massive hedonistic enthusiasm. David lived in South Africa, Ireland, Israel and Australia. David reached for the stars but unfortunately encountered several serious failures, rejections and calamities of his own device. After horrific downward spiralling behavioural issues, he continues to have conversion experiences where he has become aware of the constant love and grace of God. David however still fails multiple times to manage his inner life, occupation, career, relationships and education. David is still increasingly aware of a divine presence who just keeps loving him and inviting him to life. David recently failed as a Christian minister and fell into alcoholism and experienced an even greater sense of the goodness, mercy and joy of a higher power. David currently lives in a little house nestled into the side of a ridge in the foothills of the Kunanyi mountain at the edge of hundreds of thousands of square kilometres of wilderness Heritage Forest. The forest is full of tiny mammals, birds, insects and streams with fish, gigantic desert and Antarctic air currents swirl high overhead and sculpt surrealistic cloud formations, the island of Tasmania is tantalisingly shrouded in indigenous mystery. David is grateful for his beautiful long suffering wife Angie Clarke and two little divine sunbeams Angelika and Dave Patrick delivered recently by He who satisfies our desires with good things so that our youth is renewed like the Eagles.
