Elaine Hunter is a consultant clinical psychologist and formerly senior research Fellow at University College London. She began researching depersonalisation disorder in 1999 and was the lead of the specialist service consultant at the Maudsley Hospital in the UK. She has published many of the key papers from a psychological perspective on the condition and has recently completed a treatment trial of CBT for depersonalisation disorder.

Dawn Baker is a chartered psychologist and therapist trained in CBT. She works in the depersonalisation research unit at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King's College London, where she has developed a psychological model of depersonalisation disorder and formulated treatment and management strategies for the condition.

Anthony David is a psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London. He is also a consultant psychiatrist at the Maudsley Hospital, Director of the Institute of Mental Health at University College London, and President of the British Neuropsychiatry Association. His research spans schizophrenia, neuropsychiatry and depersonalisation disorder. In 1998, he founded the first depersonalisation research unit in the UK.

Emma Cernis is a clinical psychologist with expertise in complex mental health difficulties. Her research focuses on understanding dissociative experiences from a cognitive behavioural perspective.
