Luciana Fisher is a Brazilian-American writer, dyslexic poet, and breast cancer survivor. She graduated with honors in Economics from BMCC and will soon earn a B.A. in Social Sciences with a concentration in Economics from New York University.Her work explores the emotional undercurrents of everyday life-vulnerability, identity, resilience, and the human cost of economic and social systems. As a neurodivergent thinker, she writes with a clarity that is both analytical and deeply felt, shaped by lived experience rather than distance from it.Luciana believes storytelling is not decoration-it is survival. It is resistance. Her poetry speaks to those navigating grief, chronic illness, social isolation, or the quiet weight of being misunderstood. Her voice is direct, precise, and unafraid to sit with what others turn away from.
