Jennifer Moorcroft was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, but has now retired with her husband to Pembrokeshire, South Wales. Received into the Church at the age of eighteen, she was for many years a catechist for adults. She is a member of the Third Order Carmelites, with a special interest in Carmelite spirituality. She has written some twenty books and booklets, and numerous articles, mostly biographies of Catholic saints. Through her writings, she has wanted to show the beauty, joy, goodness, and peace of the Catholic Faith inthe lives of those who have tried to live their Catholic life to the full.
