For 29 years Stephen was one of the Ministers of a Baptist Church in the South of England. During this time he was involved in supporting the church on its journey towards community-based mission. Having completed his doctorate through the University of Wales alongside his involvement with the church, he had the opportunity to apply his theological education to bringing the church and community into a closer relationship.
