Jon M. Erlandson is professor emeritus of anthropology and former executive director of the Museum of Natural and Cultural History at the University of Oregon. Kristina M. Gill is an archaeologist, archaeobotanist, and research scientist at the Museum of Natural and Cultural History at the University of Oregon.
