Dominic Afscharian is a research officer at the University of Tübingen where he is also completing his dissertation on issues around Social Europe. Viktoriia Muliavka is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences and is a researcher at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities focusing on Central and Eastern European politics. Lukás Siegel is an assistant professor at Bratislava International School of Liberal Arts (BISLA). He received his bachelor's and doctoral degree in philosophy, focusing on human rights, disadvantaged groups, stereotypes, and theories of justice. Together, the authors are collaborators in a working group on the idea of a European Universal Basic Income, hosted by the Young Academics Network of the Foundation of European Progressive Studies, with the support of the Renner Institut.
