I am a research manager at Kempten University of Applied Sciences. I hold a PhD in critical sociolinguistics and I have studied, researched, and/or lectured at different universities and research facilities in Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Malta. My research explores the social consequences of various forms of linguistic commodification and the management of multilingualism across different workplace settings. I have also extensively written about the (un)making of languages, speakerhood, and linguistic territories in touristic contexts. Dr. Jonas Hassemer ist seit 2023 Universitätsassistent (Postdoc) am Institut für Sprachwissenschaft, Universität Wien; Forschungsschwerpunkte: Soziolinguistik, Kritische Mehrsprachigkeitsforschung, Sprache und Arbeit, Sprache und soziale Ungleichheit, Sprach- und Kommunikationsideologien, Subjekt und Subjektivierung, Ethnographie, Institutionen und Organisationen, Migration und Displacement. Dr. Mi-Cha Flubacher ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Dozentin für Sprachenmanagement und Globalisierung. |
