On the outskirts of a small Georgia town, Rebamac was raised in the southern tradition of moral values that placed Jesus and family as her foundation. She now calls Alabama her home, where she resides with her son. She began writing based on personal experiences to be read only by her children after her passing. She wanted them to understand why she made the choices she did. Throughout the years of writing, she found herself overcome by past memories, but eventually writing became a healing therapy as she processed and realized she was not alone in her struggle.
