Zusammenfassung

In her debut book, I WISH I WOULD HAVE WAITED FOR YOU, Jessika Michelle Tate takes the reader on a journey through her personal process as well as others similarly situated as herself, who entered a marriage covenant that eventually led to divorce. This book is going to give you practical knowledge through different real-life scenarios as well as impart spiritual wisdom through the Scriptures. Knowledge is power, so whether you are single, divorced, widowed, or in a complicated relationship, there is something in this book for you. This book will be a useful resource for gaining knowledge and insight into the divorce side of marriage that often goes untold. Before you walk down the aisle and say, "I do," let the wisdom of those who have gone before you help you identify the red flags that destroy marriages. You will also learn how you value yourself influences your mate selection and affects your willingness to make bad choices in every area of your life. This book can help you avoid being among those unfortunate statistics that show a high percentage of marriages end in divorce. Let my story encourage you to identify the importance of knowing your value and living an abundant life so you will not be among those who opt to settle for less.

JESSIKA MICHELLE TATE is the daughter of Buddy and Darlene Tate. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, class of 2000. In 2004, she received a bachelor's degree in business management at the University of Oklahoma. She later received her Juris Doctorate at the University of Oklahoma School of Law. In 2009, she started the Tate Law Firm, where she specializes in custody, divorce, guardianship, and personal injury. Jessika has a passion for helping members of her community, especially those who are often underrepresented at the courthouse, gain the legal and personal knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of the legal system successfully. You can find out more details about the Tate Law Firm at www.jtatetulsalaw.com. In 2012, Jessika was married and later divorced, wherein her journey of discovery and healing began. Also, in 2021, a career milestone occurred when she received an appointment as an Associate Municipal Judge, where she has presided over the needs of the citizens of the City of Tulsa in her courtroom ever since. In addition to her distinguished career in law, Jessika also attends and serves in ministry at Kingdom Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Although Jessika has come through many trials and tribulations, today, she is walking in victory and is using her life story as a living testimony that there is life after divorce.
