Joe Hall lives in the border city of Buffalo, NY. He has performed in 41 cities, 25 states, Washington, DC, and Canada and is a founding member of Hostile Books, a small press committed to radical materiality. His poetry, fiction, essays, and reviews have appeared in Gulf Coast, HTMLGIANT, Octopus, Hayden's Ferry Review, Versal and elsewhere. His books include SOMEONE'S UTOPIA (Black Ocean, 2018), THE DEVOTIONAL POEMS (Black Ocean, 2013), PIGAFETTA IS MY WIFE (Black Ocean, 2010) and, with Chad Hardy, THE CONTAINER STORE (SpringGun Press, 2012).
