Did fate bring them together, or was it a little movie magic?

Former tabloid TV reporter "Sami Scandal" derailed A-list actor Evan Gallagher's life with a segment on her show. Samantha lost her job over the inaccurate report, and fled Los Angeles in shame.

Five years later, she's switched careers to be behind the camera and she's back in Hollywood to help her best friend make a film. She'll be fine, she reassures herself, as long as she doesn't run into a certain someone...

Evan Gallagher is having a bad year. Or five. He's still climbing back up after that tabloid report lost him his role in the #1 film franchise worldwide. Now his newly sober ex-wife wants a do-over, she just got partial custody of their son, and Evan keeps losing parts to Kevin Bacon. Then a promising role opens up, and he aces the audition. Plus, the film's continuity supervisor has him revved up like no woman has in a long time. Things are looking up.

Evan doesn't recognize Samantha. But every time she sees him, guilt floods her for her part in toppling the world's best-loved actor from his pedestal. She wants to come clean, but if Evan flips over it, it could ruin her friend's movie and they already had one actor drop out. Yet he has never hidden his attraction to her, and every day on the shoot, she falls more under his spell. One night on location, in the midst of a heat wave, they spontaneously agree to some fun with no strings attached. What could go wrong?
