The Azle Historical Museum began in the bicentennial year of 1976. Two years later, the museum moved from the second floor of the oldest building on Main Street--the original Walker Drug--to the vacated Jim Nation Building right across the street. Images were provided from the museum's collection, board members, and others. Rex Ballauer, president of the Azle Historical Museum, and J'Nell Pate, secretary, wrote the text.
